Join the Carmel Education Foundation for Ghosts & Goblins, a spooktacular 1 Mile/5K Run-Walk that brings our community together! Families, friends, and neighbors unite in festive costumes for a fun, family-friendly race that makes a real difference. Every step supports Carmel Clay Schools through student scholarships, teacher grants, and innovative programs that shape brighter futures. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, you're part of a celebration of community, creativity, and education.
Event Description
Ghosts & Goblins 1M/5K Walk/Run - Saturday, October 24 - 9:00am
- Carmel Education Foundation (CEF) welcomes individuals, families and groups to join the 18th Annual Ghosts and Goblins race to support Carmel Clay students.
- Runners or walkers may choose a 5k or 1 mile race, both of which are timed. Prizes will be awarded by age category for the 5k.
- Strollers are welcome on either course, but pets are not allowed for their safety.
- Courses begin/end at Carmel High School where there will be music, refreshments, prizes, and entertainment.
Consider a donation to a Goblin Grant to support community building or wellness at your school!

New This Year! Keep the Halloween Fun Going After the Race!
Cross the finish line and keep the celebration going! Immediately following the Ghosts & Goblins Race, you're invited to join the Carmel High School Dance Marathon for a morning of Halloween fun that gives back in even more ways.
After supporting the Carmel Education Foundation and Carmel Clay Schools through your race participation, head over to Murray Stadium where kids are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes and enjoy a festive trick-or-treat experience. Families can visit games and activity stations throughout the stadium to collect candy, treats, and plenty of Halloween fun.
This family-friendly event is a safe, exciting way to celebrate the season while supporting Riley Children's Hospital and the extraordinary care they provide to children and families throughout Indiana.
Join us for a morning of community, costumes, and giving back!
